By using Yaku AI, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or of legal age in your jurisdiction) and agree to comply with these Terms.

Yaku AI is fundamentally a local desktop application. You agree to use Yaku AI only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): Our AI capabilities require you to provide your own API keys for services like OpenAI, Anthropic, or others. You are solely responsible for the usage, security, and billing of these third-party API keys. We are not liable for any costs incurred from your use of your API keys.

Local Data: All your workspace content is stored locally on your machine. You are responsible for backing up your data. We do not have access to or control over your local data and cannot recover it if it is lost.

You may not:

• Use the service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities.
• Interfere with the operation of Yaku AI or attempt unauthorized access.
• Upload or share any content that is offensive, infringing, or violates others’ rights.
• Use Yaku AI to distribute malware or unsolicited advertisements.

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and all activities under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect suspicious or unauthorized activity.

Yaku AI and all related content, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, and logos, are our exclusive property or used under license. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell any part of Yaku AI without our written permission.

Access to Yaku AI requires a simple one-time payment processed securely by Dodo Payments. There are no recurring subscriptions or hidden monthly fees—you pay once and own lifetime access to the software.

Note that your purchase of Yaku AI covers lifetime access to the software platform. You are separately responsible for any API usage costs incurred directly with your chosen third-party AI model providers (BYOK).

Due to the digital nature of the software and immediate generation of your unique 20-digit desktop key, all sales are final.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Yaku AI for violations of these Terms, without prior notice. You may also discontinue use at any time by deleting your account.

Yaku AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Yaku AI.

Yaku AI may integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or practices. Use these services at your own risk.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Yaku AI after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Miami, Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.
