1. 100% Private & Local Execution
Yaku AI is a desktop application that runs completely locally on your machine. This means 100% of your workspace data, including videos, files, text, and content, remains completely private and local to your device.
We do not store, process, analyze, or have access to any of your content or personal workspace data on our servers.
2. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
Yaku AI operates safely on a Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) model for AI services. When you configure your own API keys (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Groq, local models), your data is securely sent directly from your local machine to the respective AI provider of your choice.
We do not track, log, intercept, or mark up any data passing between your local machine and your chosen AI providers.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide, improve, and protect our services. This includes:
a. Information You Provide Directly
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect details like your name, email address, and password.
Content Data: Any text, images, videos, audio files, or other content you upload to Yaku AI.
Billing Information: If you purchase a paid plan, we collect payment details (processed securely by third-party payment processors).

Usage Data: We track interactions within Yaku AI, such as features used, time spent on the platform, and navigation behavior.

If you connect external services (e.g., YouTube, Google Drive), we may collect data necessary to integrate these services within Yaku AI.

Yaku AI integrates with third-party tools (via BYOK). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Groq, xAI, NVIDIA, or other third-party websites linked to. Please review their privacy policies directly.

If you access Yaku AI from outside the United States, your data may be transferred and stored in jurisdictions with different privacy laws.
